Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

1. Why this page exists

CreditMend AI LLC ("CreditMend AI," "we," "us") participates in affiliate programs with certain credit product partners. The Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and Section 5 of the FTC Act require us to disclose those relationships clearly. This page is that disclosure.

2. Affiliate relationships

We have or may have affiliate relationships with credit card issuers, credit builder loan providers, and similar financial product companies — directly or through affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ Affiliate, and Bankrate. When you click a link to one of these partners from CreditMend AI and subsequently sign up, open an account, or take another qualifying action, we may receive a commission. The amount varies by partner and offer; we do not pass these costs on to you.

Examples of partners we may earn commissions from include but are not limited to: Self Financial, Capital One, Discover, Petal, Mission Lane, Chime, OpenSky, Kikoff, and Credit Strong. Not all of these relationships may be active at any given time.

3. Self Financial-specific disclosure

Self Financial compensates us when you sign up for Self Financial using the links provided. We disclose this relationship in accordance with Self Financial's affiliate program terms.

4. How recommendations are made

Our affiliate relationships do notinfluence recommendation ranking. CreditMend AI's recommendation engine is driven by an AI strategist that ranks candidate products against your specific credit file — bureau scores, open disputes, account ages, item mix, and other data you have provided or that our integrations have surfaced. Higher commission rates do not move a product up the rank.

When two products are otherwise comparable for your situation, we disclose both. You can always skip any recommendation, and any move can be researched and signed up for directly with the partner rather than through our links. You will not be charged a different price for going direct.

5. What we will not recommend

Regardless of commission, we will never recommend any product or strategy that requires misstating income, household composition, employment, or any other material fact on a credit application. This includes "stated income" gaming, household-income loopholes, and any approach that involves misrepresentation to a lender. Our recommendation engine and AI strategist are explicitly programmed to refuse any such suggestion, drop any candidate move that would require it, and decline the request if asked.

Misrepresentation on a credit application is bank fraud under 18 U.S.C. §1014 and exposes the consumer to criminal liability. We consider this a hard line, not a guideline.

6. Tracking

When you click an affiliate link inside CreditMend AI, we record the click in our internal database to attribute conversions and improve recommendation quality. We log the link clicked, the product targeted, the time of the click, and (when you are logged in) your CreditMend AI user ID. We do not currently log the source IP address. Click data is retained for revenue reconciliation and operational reporting.
