1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, password (hashed), and billing details.

Credit Report Data: When you upload a credit report, we extract and store account names, balances, payment history, and related data to provide our services. We do NOT store full credit report PDFs long-term.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and session data to improve our service.

2. FCRA Permissible Purpose

We access and process your credit data solely at your direction and with your explicit consent to assist you in exercising your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We have a permissible purpose under FCRA §604(a)(1) — written consent of the consumer.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Analyzing credit reports for inaccuracies and violations
  • Generating dispute letters
  • Tracking dispute progress
  • Processing payments
  • Communicating service updates

4. AI Processing

We use Anthropic's Claude AI to analyze credit report text and generate dispute letters. Credit data sent to the AI is used only for your request and is not used to train AI models. Anthropic processes data under a zero data retention policy for API requests.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal or financial data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Lob: Certified mail delivery (your name and address only)
  • Anthropic: AI analysis (anonymized credit data)
  • Law enforcement: Only when legally required

6. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to customer data is restricted to essential personnel. We conduct regular security reviews.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your account plus 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, export your data, and opt out of marketing communications.
